Are you a qualified Dog Instructor looking for a new and exciting career opportunity?

We are currently looking for an Instructor with a sound understanding of the International Guide Dog Federation Standards to join the Vision Australia team, offering dog guide services to meet client’s needs, consistent with these standards to support the successful operations of SEDA and contribute to SEDAs training program.

You have relevant experience in the International Guide Dog Federation industry, allowing you to demonstrate your ability in training clients in the use and care of Seeing Eye Dogs as a mobility aid, assessing clients and dogs, and training dogs up to matching standards. You are qualified as an Instructor with a school recognised by the International Guide Dog Federation, have substantial post graduate experience as an Instructor, and have the ability to meet the physical demands and requirements of this role including the ability to independently undertake long walks on a daily basis.
